Why Corner Faster?

At Corner Faster, we prepare you to get into racing the right way, and have a great first race. We have race winning instructors with curriculum influenced by world class pros and both amateur and professional race schools and development programs. Our aim is to provide what works - a proper learning environment: progressive, hands-on, and fun!

What to expect

Racing isn't easy. Corner Faster is just the start. While it's impossible to teach everything you need to know in just 1 day, the Competition Race School instills wheel-to-wheel fundamentals. The curriculum builds throughout the day with classroom sessions and progressive on-track exercises. Finally, there is an exam - at the end of the day, every single graduate of Corner Faster is someone whom the staff would want to share the track with.

SCCA Accredited

Corner Faster is one of just a handful of SCCA-Accredited 1-day programs where graduates can walk away with full school credit towards their SCCA Novice Permit, unlocking regional racing! Corner Faster's independence means race school students also benefit from the broad perspective of our racing staff, which includes experience across SCCA, NASA, WRL, ChampCar, AER, and GT Academy.

From Sim to Reality

Welcome to CORNER FASTER, a competition race school established in 2021 and proudly accredited by SCCA. Our journey spans over 30 years, starting with our founder, Nick Fontana, who ignited his passion for racing at just 10 years old in a simulator.

Our program is shaped by the invaluable insights garnered over the years, including coaching insights from esteemed GT Academy judges, as well as participation in structured racing programs from BMWCCA, MSA, and NASA.

At CORNER FASTER, we've built a dedicated team of experienced racers who have excelled in amateur motorsports, ready to share their expertise and jumpstart racing journeys.

The Program

Immersive 1-day Racing Education

Featuring 3 hours of on-course experience, which includes 2 hours of scheduled hot track time. Participants will engage in informative classroom sessions covering key racing concepts. The program also encompasses open lapping, paddock activities, and focused drills on wheel-to-wheel racing, as well as training on flags, starts, and restarts. Conclude your day with an opportunity to assess your knowledge through examinations.
